Le Terroir offers you several wine tasting programs to choose from. We designed our tastings to be informative and fun, always casual and relaxed. Nothing stuffy here!

For each program, 4 or 5 wines around a theme that changes every month would be tasted.

For example: "White grape varieties", "Wines from Languedoc", "Mourvedre", "Domaine Faiveley" etc…
To complement the wines, we will serve our speciality galettes, traditional French dishes prepared by our chef and charcuterie and cheese platters.

Introductory Tasting

The introductory tasting is presented in Japanese by Vincent Ramey our bilingual restaurant manager. He will introduce you the basics of wine. All you'll have to do is sit back, enjoy, dine and drink. You will learn a lot and will get to taste good wines.

Ladies' Wine Tasting

The lady's wine tasting is hosted by Ms Harumi Akiyama, owner of the famous wine shop in Hanzomon "Sagamiya". It will be a tasting for women by a woman on topics that matter to women.

Grands Crus Tasting

Yves Ringler, owner of Chateau Mas Neuf in the southern Rhone valley, will present the Grands Crus tasting in English and Japanese (with the help of Vincent). He will take you through a variety of themes to build up and refine your wine knowledge. He will take you through the main wine regions of France, guide you through the specificities of French terroirs, and give you names you should be looking for.
